About The ZO Stimulator Peel

The ZO Stimulator Peel uses a combination of three exfoliating ingredients; glycolic, lactic and citric acid to slough away dead skin cells and any superficial blemishes to reveal fresh, clearer skin underneath. It also stimulates cell turnover for continued improvement of the skin long after the peel. Similar to a trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peel, this treatment chemically exfoliates the skin initiating optimal cell turnover not only on its surface but also deep into the dermal layers.

The Procedure

Step 1 - The peel works to gently remove the outermost layer of skin.

Step 2 - A stimulating 6% retinol crème is applied to the face. This cream works to stimulate cellular function at a deeper level. The results include increased collagen production as well as firming and wrinkle reduction.

Step 3 - A calming crème is applied to minimise inflammation and any irritation that may result from the first two steps. This restores the natural moisture balance of the skin.

The initial solution causes the superficial layer of the skin to peel off and may cause slight initial reddening. The treatment exposes a new layer of healthy undamaged skin, resulting in a smoother texture and a more even skin tone.

The results of your ZO Stimulator Peel should be noticeable instantly. Your skin will appear noticeably brighter, fresher and rejuvenated. In order to prolong and maintain these results, we recommend a course of 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

Aftercare

You should be able to return to your normal routine - we simply advise you not to wash your face for at least 5 hours and to apply a high-factor SPF as your skin heals. Any tightness is normal and will ease in the hours following your treatment.
