What Does The Procedure Involve?
On the day of your treatment, Dr Anna will provide further information about the lip filler procedure and answer any queries you may have. Numbing cream is applied to the treatment areas before the procedure. The filler is then injected slowly and carefully along with gentle massaging to ensure the filler product is evenly distributed. This procedure takes around 30 minutes.
What Results Can I expect?
Lip filler treatments usually have minimal downtime. You will notice some swelling and redness, which is normal. Some bruising may also occur immediately after the procedure, but these effects typically subside within a few days. The results of lip fillers are not permanent, they do, however, last anywhere from several months to over a year. Regular touch-up sessions are often needed to maintain the desired results.
Aftercare
Try to avoid applying makeup to the area for 12 hours and touching it unnecessarily for 24 hours. Stay hydrated and apply a cold compress to reduce any swelling and discomfort.
