Profhilo, developed in Italy in 2015 is sweeping through Europe. This new injectable treatment has been generating buzz for its ability to offer visible results in just two visits. A series of injections to the face deliver this formulation. The injections use purified, natural hyaluronic acid to the face at two different molecular weights for visible results. The higher molecular weight hyaluronic acid stimulates collagen and elastin whilst the lower weight hyaluronic acid hydrates skin underneath. Together they restore lost elasticity and create fuller, firmer and healthier more vibrant skin up to 6 months after treatment. Profhilo is generally administered into five key injection sites on the face:
Top of cheeks
The sides of your face
The lines around your mouth
Your nasolabial folds
Wrinkles such as crows feet, smoker’s lines, smile lines and frown lines.
Saggy, loose skin – on your face, decolletage, neck, arms or hands.
Dull, dehydrated looking skin.
Sunken skin that needs more volume.
Dr. Anna who will carry out the procedure will assess your skin goals and ensure you’re a suitable candidate for Profile enhancement treatment. She will talk you through the process and work with you to tailor make a treatment plan that works for you. When it comes to the procedure the product is injected into 5 precise bio-aesthetic points on each side of the face. After injection it spreads through the tissues to rejuvenate a wide area. Profhilo can be used on the face and neck. There is virtually no down-time with this procedure, which generally consists of two treatments 4-5 weeks apart.
